What pianos are available?

If you decide to work with us in one of our recommended venues, either The Stoller Hall or Carole Nash Hall, then you will have access to either a Steinway Concert D in The Stoller Hall or a Steinway or Bösendorfer in the Carole Nash Hall.

Is tuning included?

If you decide to record in either The Stoller Hall or Carole Nash Hall, then the venue will charge £160 + VAT per piano which includes one tuning at the beginning of the session. Additional tuning throughout the day, or on consecutive recording days, can be arranged and will incur an additional cost by the venue.

Are there any practice rooms available for use before the recording?

The venue doesn’t officially offer practice rooms to the public, although it could be arranged if you cannot find an alternative and we have enough time to organise this before the recording session. There will be a green room with a piano for warming up if you record with us in one of our recommended venues, either The Stoller Hall or Carole Nash Hall.

Can we record a duo with two pianos?

Piano duo recordings are possible in our recommended venues. By default there are two pianos in the Carole Nash Hall. If you require two pianos in The Stoller Hall this can be arranged if we know in advance.
